How gifts turn visitors into fans
The right gift can complete a visitor’s request and turn that customer into a fan of your restaurant. Finding its island saves you from sending Luffy on outings that cannot produce the item you need. Before exploring, match the requested gift to a destination and consider whether your crew is strong enough to collect it.
In ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, gifts are part of building a following for your floating restaurant. Visitors have different requirements, so collecting presents solves only some requests. Others need a particular dish or facility before they become fans.
| Visitor requirement | What to work toward | What to check first |
|---|---|---|
| A specific gift | Collect and give the requested item | Its exploration destination |
| A particular dish | Develop the relevant food and meet the request | Available ideas and ingredients |
| A facility | Build the requested attraction or furnishing | Whether construction is available |
Affection also matters: eating and using facilities increases a customer’s attachment to the restaurant. Giving items can improve movement speed and eating capacity, providing benefits beyond completing requests.
The guides differ in how they describe becoming a fan. The GAM3S.GG beginner guide presents high Affection as the route to fan status, while the One Piece Wiki specifies a unique visitor condition. For gift hunting, treat the individual request as your target instead of assuming ordinary visits will finish it.

Gift locations worth checking first
The following tables cover 14 gift destinations, with ingredients included to help you choose outings that also support your kitchen. The location pairings come from Raider King’s gift and ingredient guide.
Raider King reports that each explorable island has a unique gift, with collection guaranteed when Luffy and his partner meet the necessary level requirement. Reaching the destination and being ready to obtain its reward are therefore separate considerations.
Gifts from the opening destinations
Look up the item name first, then use the ingredient column to decide whether the outing also fills a cooking need.
| Gift | Exploration destination | Ingredients available |
|---|---|---|
| Bouquet | Shells Town | Eggs and Milk |
| Dumbbell | Windmill Village | Chunk of Meat |
| Marine Hat | Syrup Village | Dessert Ingredients |
| Newspaper | Orange Town | Fruit Platter |
| Paintbrush | Goat Island | Grain Ingredients |
| Pinwheel | Exotic Beast Island | Vegetable Platter |
| Sunglasses | Wreckage of the Dreadnought Saber | Beans and Tea Leaves |
These destinations offer several useful combinations. A Paintbrush request points you toward Goat Island while you gather grain ingredients. A visitor asking for a Marine Hat gives you a reason to visit Syrup Village and collect dessert supplies at the same time.
More gift destinations as exploration expands
Progress opens additional locations with different gifts and ingredient combinations.
| Gift | Exploration destination | Ingredients available |
|---|---|---|
| Bandage | Drum Kingdom | Fruit Platter |
| Complete Sword Collection | Loguetown | Seafood Ingredients |
| Golden Bell | Mock Town | Spice and Herbs |
| Lighter | Enies Lobby | Dessert Ingredients; Rare Dessert Ingredients |
| Log Pose | Twin Capes | Grain Ingredients |
| Thick Book | Water Seven | Seafood Ingredients |
| Tone Dial | Skypiea | Sky Island Ingredients |
A similar ingredient reward does not make two destinations interchangeable for gifts. Loguetown and Water Seven both provide seafood ingredients, but their gifts are different. Choose between them according to whether you need the Complete Sword Collection or Thick Book.
Enies Lobby is especially useful when a Lighter request overlaps with a need for dessert ingredients. Its listing includes both regular and rare dessert supplies.
Plan an outing around an active request
A useful gift route begins with a customer’s actual requirement. Character themes can make an item seem appropriate, but these location tables do not establish which visitor wants each gift. Use the request shown in your game to identify the item.
Follow this sequence when deciding where to send Luffy:
- Identify the unfinished request. Determine whether the visitor needs an item, food, or a facility. A gift expedition helps only when the outstanding requirement calls for that gift.
- Find the matching destination. Locate the requested item in the tables and check whether you have reached that exploration area. New destinations become available as exploration progresses.
- Consider crew readiness. If the location is available but its reward remains out of reach, work on Luffy and his partner’s levels before committing more resources to the same objective.
- Look for a second benefit. Favor a needed gift whose island also supplies ingredients for an unfinished recipe or dish improvement. This gives the outing another useful purpose.
- Complete the visitor’s request. Once you have the item, use it for the intended customer and check their resulting status before choosing your next gift target.
To begin an expedition, select Action, then Explore. Keep this separate from changing your restaurant’s operating location: exploration is how you send the crew out to gather rewards.
For example, a Newspaper request directs you to Orange Town, where you also collect fruit ingredients. If you need grain ingredients instead, visiting Goat Island may help your kitchen, but it will bring you toward the Paintbrush rather than the Newspaper.
Raider King also reports that later destinations can yield larger ingredient batches, reaching up to ten at a time. That can influence ingredient gathering, but the requested gift should still determine the destination when completing a visitor request is your priority.

Use crew abilities to support gift hunting
Crew development helps when a gift location is known but collecting its reward is difficult. Break rooms unlock useful services, while exploration companions can improve what you bring back. These roles are described in the Yamatabode FAQ and GAM3S.GG’s beginner guide.
| Crew member or feature | Relevant ability | Practical use |
|---|---|---|
| Luffy | Explores and collects treasure; finds can be claimed at his Break Room | Keep track of exploration and treasure rewards |
| Zoro | Unlocks Training and can also hunt treasure | Improve crew levels for gated rewards |
| Nami | Sells ingredients through her Break Room | Cover kitchen needs while pursuing gifts elsewhere |
| Exploration companions | Provide bonuses, including increased item acquisition | Choose a partner whose bonus supports the outing |
According to GAM3S.GG, finding Nami unlocks the Going Merry, which allows a crew member to accompany Luffy on exploration. Companion selection adds another decision to an outing: consider the partner’s bonus alongside their readiness for the destination.
Zoro’s Break Room is particularly helpful when levels become the obstacle. GAM3S.GG identifies it as the way to access Training and explains that Training Points come from exploration and working. Developing your crew therefore supports future gift collection as well as their everyday duties.
The same guide notes that Joint Training uses Hearts, which also pay for outings and character requests. Before spending heavily on training, leave enough resources for the expedition and request you are trying to complete. Improving the crew is useful only if you can still carry out the next step.
Nami offers another way to manage competing needs. Buying ingredients from her Break Room can let you direct exploration toward a visitor’s gift instead of choosing an island solely to replenish cooking supplies.
FAQ
Where should I start when looking for a gift?
Match the requested item to a destination in this one piece grand gourmet gift guide, then select Action > Explore. The tables cover 14 locations and their associated ingredients. Use the item’s exact name when comparing entries, especially when several available islands provide the same kind of cooking supplies.
Will any gift make a visitor become a fan?
A visitor with a gift requirement needs the particular item associated with that request. Other visitors require food or facilities instead. Item giving can also improve customer attributes, but a useful attribute increase should not be treated as proof that you have satisfied the visitor’s unique fan condition.
Why can’t I collect a gift from the correct island?
Crew level is an important check. Raider King describes island gifts as guaranteed when Luffy and his partner are sufficiently leveled to obtain them. If you have identified the correct location but cannot secure its gift, develop your explorers through Zoro’s Training before trying to finish that collection objective again.
Where do I find the Lighter and Complete Sword Collection?
The Lighter comes from Enies Lobby, which also provides regular and rare dessert ingredients. The Complete Sword Collection comes from Loguetown, alongside seafood ingredients. Both pairings are listed by Raider King. Neither item name alone establishes its recipient, so match it to the visitor request you are working on.
Will fans keep visiting after I change sea areas?
Fans can visit from distant sea areas once you obtain a Fan Ship, according to Yamatabode’s FAQ. That makes completing requests useful before moving your restaurant onward. Continue improving customer Affection as well: it supports restaurant activity, and customers with sufficiently high Affection can eventually become staff candidates.
